Procedures

To qualify for an exam exemption, students must meet all of the following criteria for the class they wish to exempt:

1. Must have been enrolled in a Pinellas County School on the first day of Semester 2 (January 5^th).
2. Must have earned an A, B, or C for Report Period 3 and currently have an A, B, or C in the course they want to exempt.
3. Must not have more than 4 absences in the course they want to exempt.
4. Students may exempt the Semester 1 and Semester 2 exams in a yearlong course if they meet the criteria above

Students may not exempt exams for the following courses:

1. Algebra, Geometry, Biology, U.S. History
2. AP courses
3. Dual Enrollment courses
4. AICE courses
